This has got to be one of the worst series I've watched in years & years! It lacks in everything I deem worthy of an addictive back to back show! It's bs, it's ridiculous, it's v v v in creepy or scary! A waste of investor & production money! Ditch it, I seriously hope they don't waste time money or effort in a second series! "Die you not-a-main-character!" "teacher is influencing kids, catch her, shoot her." "Please don't be evil twin. Evil twin-I will be." "I'm finally dead. Now we can live together evil twin" The end.
Your a Dream hacker accused of killing your wife so you are on the run in European and can't see your kids. Billionare gives you a proposal to get your life back. Enter someones dream to make them disassemble their company because they hold a monoploy. You assemble a team to do this only thing is you cant keep your dead wife from entering the shared dream space through your subconscious and causing deadly dream mischief. Yoy finally get over feeling responsible for her death make the person belive he came up with the incepted idea of disassembling the company. Billionaire gives you your life back the end.... See what I did there. Lol

I enjoyed the show a lot. I guess one person's "Not scary, not dark..just down right zzz" is another person's "a slow and atmospheric horror that wisely prefers to present viewers a subtle, creepy, lingering mystery instead of relying on jump scares and gore."
Anyways, outside of the mention of double dream sequences, I'm not sure atarpollard's "Story in a nutshell" even makes the show sound particularly bad. The show still sounds fairly original. i.e.- T.V. show...on a dead channel" or "teacher is influencing the kids". Please correct me if I'm wrong (preferably with specific examples), but I don't think there are a lot of examples of horror movies or television shows (mainstream or otherwise) that have these things.

It was kind of boring and not at all scary. The main actor was not a very good actor either, which only made it worse.
I will give the next season a chance though since it has new characters and plot.
Actually he is a very good actor in this series and overall. I'm guessing you think Emma Roberts deserves an Oscar nomination for Nerve.

shareEddie's little hellish universe left me wanting more. I would love a book version of this anthology with more detail and more weird imagery. What else is behind those other doors and what does Eddie do in that hellish demension when he is not masquerading as the twisted tooth fairy on earth. I know he spends part of that time watching the people of Iron Hill on his tv. Now poor Mike has to stay for eternity with him.
