How He found out who the girls were question *spoilers*

How did he find out who the girls were ?? It looked like he looked into his own history and found their page . It didn't make any sense

He used some special software or codes to hack into the site and see who has visited that page. He found their blog and recognized their faces from the airport. (At least thats what i think). Because of course it would be that easy lol

All he really did was open up the html file of the fake profile page, and found the URLs of where the pics were posted from, which pointed to Kaley's actual 'facebook' profile. No worries, though, the real fb hides usernames by randomly generating file names. </technobabble> ;D

wow high tech

Thank goodness.

But any probably intermediate hacker or computer genius could probably ("probably") figure it out despite Facebook's best efforts.

It wasn't a facebook page, though. It was a pixapost page. Presumably pixapost is not as safety conscious / concerned with protecting anonymity as facebook is.

He found the IP address of the person who created / accessed the account and then looked at their browser history.
I'm not saying that possible, i have my doubts, but that's what he did on his screen.

I'm not all that savvy, but I really doubt he could have done what they portrayed. First, he drug the photo of the model to a search engine. That miraculously located a news site with photos of the model. Hmm.

I know you must be careful what info you allow Facebook to give out from your phone photos because they can actually reveal where the photo was taken and can just about track you in real time if you leave a "trail" of pics. However, this pic was from a website, of course, not from the girl's phone.

Then it looked to me like he was tracing her browser history, not his, because it showed a site called something like "kidpranks. com" That's when they lost my credulity. But, of course, I could be way off base as I'm not all that knowledgeable.
