Pretty cliche'd

Not a bad movie, but very, very predictable with the 'usual' characters.

- Attractive main character newly engaged and supposedly happy? Check.
- Attractive childhood friend who nobly refrains from coming between the couple? Check.
- Attractive fiancee' who's spoiled and narrow-minded and careless of others? Check.

The first two butt heads and argue even while denying their feelings toward each other, and when the third character comes on scene, that person pushes buttons and pretty much highlights the differences between her/him and the Old Friend, making the first MC notice the two distinctly dissimilar personalities and decide which one he/she wants. (I use him/her, he/she because the roles can easily be switched between genders. And indeed it has.)

It's Hallmark you know what to expect.

Yeah, I know. Most of these Hallmark rom-com movies are very formulaic. But this one was more so than most. Literally, all they have to do is change the names and occupations of the characters (and maybe the season/holiday) and-- voila!--they have a whole new movie.

(Oddly, just like romance novels, some of these cookie-cutter movies I can deal with, but others just make me roll my eyes and change the channel. No rhyme or reason as to which movie falls into which category.)
