Just watched. Generic, and mundane.

The show is nothing special. Same old crap being churned out again and again. Only difference is Stan Lee is involved.

You seem to be searching for a different intellectual world than stuff like Lucky Man and Star Wars goldenvision. I saw the previews for Lucky Man and I thought it looked like more mass-produced dreck. I'm not sure what your tastes are, but I like to watch a little magical realism - have you seen Beasts of the Southern Wild or Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives? them's some interesting films

omg was i bored watching this. The guy in the lead is not only bland but just unlikable. I'm gonna let the first season end and come back to the boards to see if it got any better. But to loose me not even 3/4 into the pilot episode tells me this isn't gonna make season 2 without major shifts in writing or the lead.

Sorry but I quite like this. It is trying to play with the format of the standard UK gritty cop show that next to soaps is the most prevailing genre on British TV nowadays.

Never trust the opinion of a person that hasn't watched the first two episodes of the show in question.

Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.

That fücker is also a Manchester United fan. What a twat.

I've watched all episodes to date. It's very long winded. They could have fit the whole story into about 4 episodes really.

reply

Suit yourself. It's only 2 episodes in, but I'm quite enjoying it

reply

I'm actually enjoying it. It's refreshingly different...

I'm hooked. I think to original post says more about the poster than the programme.

reply

I don't usually watch Super Hero type shows, but I gave this a chance because I like James Nesbitt, I'm really enjoying it and hope it does get a 2nd series.

reply

I have enjoyed it so far (up to episode 9), but agree it could have been tighten up a bit. It did take too long to get to revelations which I had guessed some time ago. Also there were quite a few plot holes, and too many incidences of the police (esp leads) doing stupid things and letting suspects get away (OK, I know it's sometimes necessary to progress the plot, but it's happened so many times, it's beginning to make them look really dumb.
Apart from these points I have enjoyed it, but am surprised it's getting a second series. I thought it was going to be a self contained short series, and think that might have been better.

I really like this show and can't wait for the new season.

Unlike all the American crap or you prefer 57 episodes a season.
