Sexist (towards men) garbage

Hollywood's double standard is disgusting.

Well its bound to be another flop so don't worry. they will get the message eventually. There is only a limited amount of money Sony can lose!

I'm a man and I saw it and enjoyed it..

Hollywood has also made movies about men killing female strippers at bachelor parties, so what double standard exactly are you referring to?

reply

The one where it's okay to make those films because it's a woman who dies an undignified (usually naked) death, and the entire cast of fully realised characters with speaking lines are men. But that's okay because men are not harmed by those viscous women I hear so much about. As soon as they make a film where a woman plays something other than the girlfriend/support to the 'big man' we have these A-holes making comments about reverse-sexism... What about this... Maybe someone is just making a film which is not a total sausage fest.

What do you expect from the left?

My Manliness is offended. I must go get a Manzillian now. It is the only thing that can heal me.

What about this movie was sexist toward men? The decent men in the movie (the fiancé and friends) are good guys. It's not their story though, it's the women's story. Would you have felt better if the diamond thieves were also women? It wasn't a great movie but taking offense to this is ridiculous.

The women's characters were much, much, much worse than the dudes in this film though..

I’m watching this right now, and it’s a complete ripoff of Very Bad Things. It still feels toned from a pretty pitch black comedy that VBT was to begin with, plus all these girls boyfriends are written as the most insulting wimp girly men I’ve seen on film.
