A Great Concept Wasted

Finally watched the pilot for "Son of Zorn." Had high hopes because it's such a great concept. Alas, instead of over the top gags and hard jokes, they opted for generic single cam, slice of life, awkward situations and pauses instead of jokes, unfunny tedium to match its Orange County setting. More laughter has been induced pulling the sheet over a face in a pediatric cancer ward.
