Ending ruined it

I was actually okay with the movie until Elise went into the port a potty and disappeared. Nothing from then on made sense. I mean, I understand that they were in the "beautiful confusion" of Alice's hell, but it was just stupid. It was a terrible ending. It had potential to be an okay horror movie up til then. I liked the creepiness of Alice in the hotel room, and the crazy occurrences in the Pallisades house. Could have ended a lot stronger. Not sure what I would have liked to have seen, but this ending was just meh, and a let down.

her constant screaming at the end made my ears bleed. was ready for her to die already

Um, no. The last 20 minutes of this film made it watchable... almost. Sarah Hyland's performance was strong as she emoted fear.

They should have looked under the toilet seat for the cousin. Would have been appropriate. "[She's]down there somewhere, let me take another look."
