'Carolina' is not a city

Just started watching -Carolina isn't a city and technically isn't even a state without the North or South. Just semantics, I know.

Alabama and Rhode Island both have towns named Carolina.

Congratulations funkybuttlover. Your web search pulled up two that I did not find when looking for American cities named "Carolina."

Technically, Carolina RI, isn't even a municipality. It's a "village." It has a postal code and a little fewer than 1,000 residents but it does not even appear to have a municipal government, town council, or anything of the sort. It shares a fire district with neighboring Richmond. A web search did not turn up where its law enforcement services come from. One might assume they're provided by Washington County.

Carolina AL is a town in Covington County of 1.1 sq.mi. with 297 residents in 2010. The town founder named it after his home state of South Carolina. Like its RI counterpart it does not seem to have any municipal government.

As one other poster set forth, the variance from sister cities is explained in the script for the play regarding Carolina's name -- but it's for sure it wasn't derived from either of these two burgs in the outback.

They knew that that was one of the issues Carolina had with her mother. The other sisters where cities and she didn't know if she was North or South but they didnt make a mistake it was known. It covers that in the play book is released on the 28th. I purchased the script for the stage play
