When Lifetime wants to Lifetime can make good movies! Most lifetime movies are schlocky over the top plots with B lists stars and interchangeable titles. This movie has none of that. The story is excellent with twists and turns throughout and the cast assembled is top notch. If you're forced to watch one Lifetime movie make it this one!
shareGood cast, good idea, good production. Very impressive effort. Really really poor script makes it disjointed and pretentious. Which is a nice change from most Lifetime movies.
The instrument has yet to be invented that can measure my indifference to that remark.
This was exactly how I felt. The acting was really amazing. I don't know what gives me right to judge acting LOL but I believe them, so that to me.. is good. The cinematography was really lovely too. And the storyline itself is poignant without being overly sappy.
But a lot of the dialogue, and some of the scenes, were just... well, Lifetimey lol. I still think it was a good movie. This is such a big issue right now.
Jess Weixler's character really reminded me of Winona Ryder though.
