Very amused because I love BGT and I'm apparently not capable of 'getting' this show because of that. What an *beep* lol For the record I HATE Shakespeare and I had no problem with appreciating this show. I may have enjoyed it more because I do hate Shakespeare. :)

I think this show is ok. I DO personally like Shakespeare and I took a few minutes to work out
what BGT must be because I don't watch much ITV to be honest.
I am sure Ben Elton etc would be happy to hear that someone not normally a fan of Shakespeare would enjoy the series.
In some ways there are similarities to the film Shakespeare in Love, in that the film could be enjoyed on its own merits, but also there were elements in the script that appealed to aficianados.
