Hope we get a reunion episode for XL S2

Hopefully the group calls out Darrin

I'd love to see reunions for these shows. There was evidently one for the Colombia season and it was advertised as being on "next week" but when I looked on my cable grid, I couldn't find it. It would be great to see all 12 people fully clothed , well fed and beveraged, and completely honest about what really went on and how they felt (and feel now) about each other.

I don't always like everyone on these shows but I admire the hell out of every one of them, including the ones who might tap out after 12 seconds, because I'm the polar opposite of them. I have no desire to even go into the woods for a quick hike, much less spend 40 days in the wilds somewhere. This show is perfect for me because it allows me to live vicariously through people who are braver than I'll ever be.

The reunion is on Wednesday at 10.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

@andy2008: Thanks for posting this info. I hadn't seen anything about it but I just checked my cable grid and it's on right after the 2nd episode of "Dual Survival" with Jeff and EJ. I'm looking forward to that reunion. Thanks again.

@dagr317 there was a S1 reunion and it was really dramatic. You can see it on Hulu that's how I got the idea of seeing a S2 reunion

I don't do Hulu but I imagine that reunion will eventually find its way to YouTube... everything else does! Thanks for the information.

Well, that wasn't a reunion at all. I enjoyed the unseen footage and seeing the crew and all but I was really hoping that all 12 of them would be in a studio answering questions like a regular reunion. So in that regard, it was a little disappointing. It did, however, prove that those animals really ARE that close (I honestly thought the show was just edited to make it look like the cast members were in jeopardy). Seeing the crew having to take shelter with the cast members was something I didn't expect.

I really could have done without some of the unseen footage, specifically the picking off of ticks from various body parts, eating the seeds found in elephant dung, and Jake imitating the way a giraffe drinks water (funny but it made me appreciate the blurring they add in post-production!)

Like I said in another thread, I admire the hell out of each and every one of the people who are willing and eager to take on an adventure like this. I doubt that I'd have even survived the initial flight to South Africa.

^ I can understand this happened

1. The first reunion got very heated at times among the cast in one room

2. And I think more than likely, the producers probably didn't want to pay all the travel and expenses for the cast members to gather in one setting agai. Remember all these men and women come from all over from the U.S. And have families and jobs. I'm sure it would be a stretch in their schedules to gather up in one place again.

I'm sure the members expected to be paid for a possible reunion and the producers said no.

Cheaper to make it more a BTS special but yeah I was bummed

I'm really shocked that Alyssa and Phaedra lost some of their hair. I didn't realize that losing nutrients would also cause their hair to fall out.

I'm not surprised that Jake's face had a disorder shortly after coming home. Remember his eyes turned yellow when he was hospitalized, his body definitely couldn't take the poison that fruit gave him. He should have never returned to the group the first time he got sick. His body didn't have enough immunity.

He was lucky it was temporarily
