They're open and blunt. Didn't expect that.

Has anyone seen it?

They talk very openly about how or why they talk. Didn't expect that from what I know from the japanese. Who I thought were more reserved people (which they still are somehow).

Also the feeling of these young adults living together seems very chill. From a swedish/bosnian perspective it would have been a lot louder and more partying.

I know what you mean.

@ervan50 that's exactly what I'm thinking while watching this. I'm Italian and if it had been shot here it would've been way tackier, and louder too. This show is interesting and fun to watch. The group dynamics are curious. The competition is explicit and highly perceivable, but so far they're keeping their cool (I'm at episode 6). Really enjoying this show.

Hi,
Belgian-Hungarian here. Compare it with The Real World ses 31, whitch is currently running. In that they got down like in ep 2. Here they are dating. It is such a cultural mismatch from a European point of view, but i am enjoying both.

Peace out!

Yeah it's incredibly chill. I'm thinking most of them probably have lovers outside of the show. Either that of they have no sex drive ;l

Spoiler alert. Please don't read until last episode seen.

Wonder if you guys still thought the same after the near final episodes of 45/46.

There were things happening where it was not captured by the camera / camera angles. So don't be fooled. ?

I also think they seem more sincere when they speak, which may be because they place a great deal of value on social harmony and manners. I was addicted to this show. I know compared to other shows like The Real World it is very tame, but their interactions seemed interesting nonetheless. I'm not from that world so I feel very removed, but for once I was glad to see a different take on communal living; with people who resolve their issues using words as a way to get to the heart of the matter instead of using words as a form of violence (e.g. like The Real World - which doesn't mean it wasn't also getting to the heart of the matter but it's definitely more jarring). It's refreshing and frustrating at the same time, because half the time they (the characters) can't tell how someone's feeling/thinking and they mention that a lot. They express themselves very... um, concisely? There's a lot of reading between the lines.

The last few episodes was something though... Riko and Hayato's down-low relationship/non-relationship was eye-opening but not unheard of in terms of "show business". They are in front of a camera and 1/2 of those people are in the business of fantasy, so I can understand the motivation. It's still duplicitous and underhanded though.
