Aaron's drawn out whisper...

I love him but I don't think he talks at a normal level or pace throughout this... always a long drawn out whisper!

I had no idea how much (sometimes imperative stuff) I was missing from tv shows until I turned on subtitles 3 years ago for everything I watch now. I'm not talking about the sort of stuff you might have missed if you hadn't been able to rewind. I'm talking about background conversations and inaudible dialogue, or things being said by someone not on screen. The subtitles are usually done from the script itself and I have found that sometimes there is actual scripted line in a story that somehow doesn't get spoken or it was muttered, like a "yes" or a "no" to an important question. Perfect example was in the pilot when Eddie was secretly on the phone. You couldn't really make out for sure what he was whispering, but the subtitles displayed alot of important dialogue for me that helped me as a viewer to better understand the story. I equate this practice to the same sort of action as being able to pause your screen on a frame that allows you to read an art department visual (like a letter, sign, or pc/phone screen.) You might want to try it with anything that he appears in. I can't watch anything without them on the screen. I hate going to the movie theater for this very reason, That and the lack of a pause/rewind button. YO!
