shareIt's not terrible. The concept, acting, and casting is pretty good and genius at some points. But it is just put together poorly, as if the incoherency is supposed to be charming and edgy - but it isn't. The whole show is like a reverse sommersault that ends in a bellyflop.

shareI don't get it neither. Not at all. Seemingly highly rated on both iMDB and Netflix. But I watched 20 minutes of the pilot, and I didn't even smile one, single time. Obviously not my kind of comedy. Which involves everything from Rick & Morty, Seinfeld, Will Ferrel, Kirsten Wiig to most everything ever on Adult Swim... But this was just so, so unbelievably unfunny!
shareHighly rated on Netflix? Netflix showed (me) that the pilot episode was rated 1 star. I thought, "surely it can't be that bad. What is up with the discrepancy between some of these Netflix ratings and the IMDB ratings?"
I made it half way through the episode and couldn't take it anymore. It was just trying so painfully hard to be funny, which is maybe why I didn't find it very funny at all. I almost liked the "Sassafras feeling" intro, but that turned out to be the "high" point.

In all fairness, the pilot was kind of a let down. But the show gets significantly better in the following episodes.

Agreed. I read something saying to watch the second episode before deciding whether or not to continue. The pilot wasn't great, but I think it got better.
