Wonderful

At last there is a drama show about OUR good Queen Elizabeth. I really like the acting. I hope they made a second series, I really hope so. I love the pretty dresses of the '50's

"Series producer Andrew Eaton has revealed that the drama will eventually head into the '70s, '80s and '90s to explore the Queen's relationship with Princess Diana."

So expect a lot of changes in the actors as the characters become older.

So funny, I was about to reply... well, she's not my Queen and yet I really loved the first season...

But you know what? I'm Canadian, so, she is my Queen as well! She's on our money and stamps too!

Nonetheless, I can understand that many just don't get the fuss around the monarchy, but ultimately, its a very well written and acted series!

I was born in London, and was once British.

I got the feeling from watching that she has very little control over her own life.

I knew intellectually that the situation itself meant that the things we take for granted: schooling, choice of career, choice of mates, having a social life was out of the question for them, but it turns out that what we could think they could chose is still not a given.

Its sad when you think about it.
