Victoria Hamilton
Actress Victoria Hamilton was so impressive as Queen Victoria in the TV movie "Victoria and Albert". It was a surprise to see her show up here as "The Queen Mum". I liked her performances in both.

Absolutely agree. I think I've liked everything I've seen her in, but hers was definitely my favourite ever portrayal of the young Victoria. It's been years since it was shown but I still remember it clearly because she got the balance of vulnerability and gravitas so exactly right.
(As opposed to a rather flat presentation of a privileged teenager throwing her weight about to make up for being short.)
