Teresa Palmer's acting

Was pretty top notch for a horror film. Especially when Sophie kills herself. I was surprisingly invested in the characters in this film due to the good acting. They did a lot in such a short amount of time.

She did stare a lot, to the point when it became a bit odd, but I did like her in the movie :)

The kid tho - he was just written really bad and he over-acted everything, it really annoyed me..

Her first couple of scenes were a bit one-note. As the action and emotions got more intense, she greatly improved.

She`s a pretty solid actress. She was easily the best thing in that Godawful Nicolas Sparks movie The Choice.😬

reply

Maria Bello stole the movie, but the movie had a surprise factor in the acting in general

reply

Yeah, i've never seen her in anything else but I thought she and the rest of the actors did a really nice job here.

Trying to create a funny, engaging YouTube channel. If you guys check it out, hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

Her and Bello were definitely leagues above the usual horror movie acting. The actor playing the boyfriend was solid too and made the most of his small part.

Only weak link in the main 4 was the kid. He was cute and all but his line delivery wasn't great, given he had to deliver some pretty terrible dialogue.

Decent, I wouldn't call it top notch... In some scenes she went from fearing for her life to superrelaxed in the blink of an eye almost.

Death to mainstream cinema!

I'm not saying Oscar award winning or anything, just very good for a horror film. You know, where the acting is usually god-awful.

reply

Well I guess if you compare it to movies like Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007), Lemon Tree Passage (2015), Black Christmas (2006) and Out of the Dark (2014) it was very good lol
