great horror movie, but how did she know...

Great movie, lots of jumps and surprises, just shows what a director/writer with imagination can come up with... wish hollywood would do this more often..

anyway, the daughter at the end of the movie says that diana killed her father, for sure this was kindof obvious, but how did she suddenly come to that conclusion? was there something in the basement scene i missed?

as i say great movie, but its bugging me that i must have missed some part where she realises diana killed her dad for sure...

I think it was the writing in the basement, but it was hard to read. Sounds like Diana was writing things about how she hated him and wanted to be rid of him.

Near the end Diana says something along the lines of "I'll show you where I put your father."

Just confirming... I watch everything with subtitles on, and Diana says "stay away, or I'll show you where I put your father".

We never did find out where she "put" him... and I want to know why the hell they had random terrifying mannequins in the basement. (Although trivia says that those were already in the house when they got there)

There were mannequins at the stepfather's company, no? Makes total sense that he'd keep the creepy mutilated ones in the basement at home.

We have completely different ideas of, "makes total sense". LOL.

I wouldn't keep a bunch of disfigured mannequins in my home... Unless we were suppose to believe that Diana had disfigured them?

Really really bad horror movie...atmospheric tension is everything for a good horror movie and a script which isnt retarded and atleast some decent actors but jumpscares never make a good horror movie...jumpscares are for retarded little children with a brain of a 5 year old...cause jump scares are cheap and only bad directors need to use cheap jumpscares to scare small retarded kids...us grown ups want some good well made atmospheric tension to like a horror movie...and this crap movie only had cheap jumpscares which didnt even work if your older than 10 and not retarded...
