At 1:09 Daniel says "Big things... they're coming", if I'm hearing him right. For a split second there really is a clip that seems to have been taken at some Polish protest march. Now, tzyghan, IF the march had a hateful background, wouldn't you say it is kinda justified to use it in a fictional story? Or even fabricate such clip entirely? What is your problem, exactly?

You know, summer is short here and the world pretty scary.

First of all Polish people have always helped Jews, the largest Jewish population was in Poland before WWII and the government of Israel after WWII was mostly Polish Jews.
Poland was the most powerful eastern European country for over 600 years and when they defeated them in 1919, Poland-Lithuania WAS eastern Europe, with the Hussars, russia was made an insignificant annoyance.
Polish people have the right to be proud of its heritage and to demand the same power from its govt it had before. It is not the united states of poland, it is Poland, it is made for Polish people. If you visit this awesome country, thats what youll see.
When the Polish govt gets tough, the other countries get afraid quickly and start calling it totalitarian. It is not, England on the other hand, controlling over more then 3 territories and the rest of its worldwide controlled countries is a different story.
Poland still needs to regain its lost eastern land, which Soviet Union gave to those Ukraine, Belorussia, and others. Tiny Poland has defeated huge Soviet communism for all surrounding countries, it will continue to do so in the future.

Really always? Really helped? I will just throw some dates and places here. Check them out if interested: Cracow - 1407; Poznań - 1565; Lviv - 1664; Białystok - 1906; Lviv and Vilnius - 1919; 1935-1937 over 70 Jews killed throughout Poland; Jedwabne - 1941 also Wąsosz, Radziłów, Goniądz during WWII (the murderers were not Germans); Cracow - August, 1945; Kielce - July, 1946; the great exodus of 1968. These are all historically proven facts. Need I say more?
