Why not Bryan Cranston?

If you saw the play "All The Way", you understand. Cranston IS LBJ.

reply

Because he's too busy playing LBJ in the HBO adaptation of "All the Way".

I find Oscar Bait infinitely more interesting than ticket bait

He's absolutely incredible in "All the Way". I hope he wins all the awards going for that.

Still, this is a different depiction of LBJ and to keep things fresh it's important to have another portrayal.

I liked Cranston very much. He physically looked much more like LBJ than Woody does. But Cranston never captured the charm which LBJ could dispense when it served his interests. Be interesting to see Woody's take.
