that this movie is sympathetic to Johnson, that's it, I am done.

If this is true, Rob Reiner will have completely and utterly forever alienated a fan from his AitF days through his "Stand By Me" days until now.

If "Meathead" has done anything less than tell the exact truth about LBJ and he is portrayed as anything less than the lying, stinking sack of sh*t he was, then Rob Reiner can go straight to hell and hang out with the s.o.b. as far as I'm concerned.

The point is that LBJ was a good politicians that got things done. None of our Presidents have been towering truth-tellers or morally perfect ... and none will be for a very, very long time that we will never be around to see if it comes.
