Reactions seem positive-for now.
If this will actually turn out to be good, whoever did the marketing should be clubbed.

The trailers (imo) and early reactions to the film were encouraging, although I can’t say I’m surprised by this... I knew a mixed-negative critical reception could be likely.
But it doesn’t matter. The first film wasn’t a hit with critics either, yet audiences (including yours truly) were fond of it. So have I lost any interest in this sequel? Nope! To hell with cinephiles and their outrageously high standards! :> And whilst there is apparently not enough Angelina in it (don’t like that), from what I’ve read this sequel is an off-the-wall thrill ride overall. To that I say... YES!
At any event, a dark fantasy spectacle during this time of the year? Sounds good to me.
