Paige's fiance and his family

We're atrocious! Lol his mother was smug from the beginning and they were all so elitist she would have been so miserable lol.

reply

The stiffest peopleever.

reply

I know right. I didn't like them either.

reply

Yes I can't believe there are people that feel so entitled and better than others. I could not stand her and the son never would really even stand up to her. It seems the father was like that until the end when he said he liked that girl. Yeah after his son loses her he likes her lol

reply

I would never want to marry into that family!

Wonder is the seed of knowledge.🐈 

reply

Me neither. I'm glad Paige humiliated him on that joyous holiday with that stuff about a guy named Dylan who rented her an SUV back in Buffalo.

The father was the cliche dissenter character. In lots of stories with classist, elitist characters disapproving of a son or daughter's mate choice, there is frequently a dissenter character who doesn't subscribe to the snooty attitude. That character is often denied an opportunity to speak up, as the snooty one dominates the houeshold and pressures the offspring.

I think the dad always liked her. You could see the approving expression on his face during their phone calls. It's just that the wife's personality dominated and he was too weak to speak up until the end, after the break up.
