Why cant they get a good director?

Trish Die is terrible. Don't these movies make a lot of money? I'm sure they could afford someone credible.

They could probably even get a great director on the cheap. There are a lot of great, low profile directors out there.

I just don't get why they would hire a cheap,terrible director.
