PP3 is going to fail miserably..
If Elizabeth Banks was directing, I'd have more confidence. But I think this one crashes and burns folks.

Banks did a decent job with PP2 but she seemed to be pushing Fat Amy as more of a main character which I think is a mistake. The fat jokes and fart jokes only go so far. I think somebody new directing might be good but PP2 doesn't really leave much for another sequel. The characters (and the actors) are all getting too old.
shareI think its played out by now. I actually enjoyed the second one. Thought the last scene was cool. Music video at the end was nice too. Leave it alone right there. There is simply no reason to have done a 3rd one.

Pitch Perfect one was a sleeper making more its opening weekend and had a first one 65 million (good amount on minimal budget) but sequel over 180 mil which is insane money domestic along.
Maybe the 3rd wont make as mucu as the 2nd but a holiday release has help even crappy movies like alvin and chipmunks make over 200 mil. Theres no way with girls out of school for several weeks and families looking for fun over holiday it wont hit at least 100 million.
