Human error

Is it possible to complete this without killing Dan or turning all of Covenant against me?

I told you... moral quandary. It's a tough decision. No it isn't possible. If you chose to save the girl, you have to kill your way out AND kill all of Covenant (or just never go there again... that isn't really all that hard either.) If you side with Covenant, Dan turns hostile... I suppose you could run and let the security and scientists kill him. Either way you're killing him (and possibly letting scientists who truly believe they are doing the right thing for the commonwealth die as well.) And to top it off, the girl IS a synth. But is she an evil institute agent? Or is the railroad trying to rescue her? You find more pieces of the puzzle later when you meet her "father" at Bunker Hill.

It was a good one. Truthfully I wasn't happy with how it turned out for my first character, the always good and saintly General of the Minutemen. It worked out a little better for my second character, the violent and bloodthirsty railroad agent. I have not decided how my 3rd character, either the mysterious gunslinger or the goofy demolitionist (depending on whether or not I find a good dual wield pistol mod) is going to go on that quest, or which will join which other faction.

I reloaded a file of before i played the nucleur option so i could actually finish human error, saved the girl, electrocuted the scientist to death then went to Covenant cos i wanted another settlement, they all attacked my character who literally killed them all with her bare hands.

But i was still hoping there was another way to get the settlement without having to choose between not killing HD and not massacaring the humans of Covenant (at least Deezer and the cat are still alive, especially the cat)- (maybe if i didn't have my character tell HD i found the compound in the first place.
