The series did NOT end the way that this sorry film portrayed it

First of all, I apologize if this has already been posted. The series finale was called "Michelle Rides Again, Part 2". Michelle gets amnesia after suffering a concussion from a fall and cannot remember who she is or who her family is. There was NOTHING in the finale about DJ going to the prom. The could have at least TRIED to incorporate elements of actual episodes into the film. Just like Lifetime's Saved By the Bell movie, the unauthorized Full House Story was a freaking joke and in no way told what was really going on behind the scenes. The truth is, they had no idea of what went on, so they just took a lot of liberties. For instance, I find it unfathomable that John Stamos was back stage getting high off of a whip cream aerosol can. Saget and Coulier, maybe, but not Stamos. He was above such stupidity. I mean, sure, John smoked and drank, but huffing to get high? No way.

Actually, that was one of the few things the movie got right. Yes it centered around Michelle's memory loss, but the end of the show was DJ going to prom, and Kimmy brought over Steve to go as DJ's date.

Oh, okay. Maybe I had memory loss myself! Anyway, the film botched up in other areas for sure.

You are forgetting this is not a full house remake...They can't just re-shoot every scene, word for word. It's more about the real life actors that played the characters, than the characters themselves. I was the biggest full house fan..but even i know that tuning in to this..i was not going to expect the scenes to be exactly the same as they were on the real show.

I just hope that the Unauthorized Dexter story is much better than this movie was. Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter will not settle for being portrayed badly.

of course it didn't. It's Unauthorized, meaning no one who actually worked on full House is involved in the making

There's about as much truth to these "unauthorized" stories as there is in Rosie O'Donnell's heterosexuality

Go to YouTube and search for "Stamos Saget Late Show". Saget was a guest host on the last Late Late Show before Craig Ferguson took over (back in 2004 I think) and John Stamos actually brings up the whipped cream story. So there's another thing that the movie surprisingly got right ;-)

They did interviews with the people behind the scenes like the Executive Producers, the directors, the camera men.. Etc, everyone except the actual cast but they already said a lot of it was fictional and over exaggerated but some of it is true.

Bob Saget was dirty like that, they even said they had to come pull the kids off set when he would start talking dirty and playing dirty. He also did have doubts about being on the show

John Stamos did try to get the twins replaced at the beginning

The guys did play around on the set a lot

But like I said, some of it is fictional and all of it is pretty much over exaggerated like I'm sure Bob didn't complain THAT much, the twins mother nor Candace's mother were on set as much, child labor laws and also the twins did have care takers and nannies while on set so it wasn't necessary for her to be there.
