Agreed. This looks like a better version of Hancock. The first half of Hancock was great, rest was sh!te.

But trust me when i say American Hero is even worse. Somewhere in this mess of a movie was a nice touching movie to be made but it's not the end result to say the least. Very inconsistent.

Hancock allowed itself humour, entertainment and some great effects put to good use. It didn't take itself seriously at all. It was an adventure.
This piece of garbage allowed itself NOTHING. I am not fooled by the "grit", the "ghetto" or the "sad", this is pure feces. Oh, such a troubled Dorff with amazing powers, oooo - trying to cope and juggle the life as an addict and a father. *beep* this contrived *beep*
This guy was way more screwed up than Hancock.

It has it's moments but overall nothing amazing

Too bad it was awful, the movie had potential but just sucked in every way, it really is if a loser had some powers and did almost nothing with them. Least Hancock had a few action scenes.
