The fact that other countries continue to spend their money to primarily watch American films speaks for itself.

A quick Google search indicates that on average 57 new movies are released in theaters each month. Obviously they aren't all gonna be hits. Thank goodness they aren't as no one could watch that many movies-- so we'd miss out on a lot of good ones.
