I just saw the trailer and I was amazed, I thought I was watching the trailer for Rings (you know, the third film in The Ring universe). It's a whole new film by Verbinski!? Fantastic! Did he get snubbed for the third one? Or did he say no? Or are they taking the franchise into B-level territory, so budget?
Always, this interests me way more than Rings at the moment.
The new ring movie looks like trash... The first one I loved.
shareThe New Ring movie is SO stupid the premise doesn't even make sense. The first one was really, really good, but everything after that was awful. Even the Japanese sequel was miles above the american one. Wish they'd stop trying to "add" to it. The only thing good about the "sequels" to the American ring was the short film they did I think it was just called "Rings" it had Ryan Merriman and it was about 10 minutes long. Had that been the premise of the second movie it might have been good but some how they managed to crap it up.
