I agree with you on some points like yeah the movie has a good story but i think "one man saves the whole village" concept is already seen in old Telugu movies and in this movie that concept is shown in a whole new entertaining way and for this i give director k.siva a big pat on his bag. But IMO you're wrong about the music, the OST in srimanthudu is one the best work of DSP. Mahesh acting was average in this movie and in some scenes its flat, its like he is standing like a doll and words come out of his mouth but there is only one facial expression, and i think there is no pitch in mahesh's voice so he is not good for big punch dialogue and it doesn't suit him. First half of movie was good but second half was just average, there is a huge dosage of emotional scenes and the climax is the worst part of the movie. Overall, for me srimanthudu tries too hard to tackle the problems faced by our villagers but it turned out to be a simple masala flick. This is the second movie of this year i was waiting but it disappoint me but its still better than that overrated bahubali. I rate srimanthudu a 7.
