Wow, this is Bruno's biggest success at the Cesars yet.

It was a hugely positive surprise. It's the first Dumont film that the Césars truly ate up and his first nominations besides one for Best First Feature back in 1998. Hell what, I can't even complain about Bruni Tedeschi getting in for once: that naturally comical voice fit in with the general ludicrousness of the film. A slice of inspiration on the Césars' part that may help me to feel better about Jean-Pierre Léaud's Best Actor snub. Almost..........

Yeah, a great surprise - The Cesar Awards always ignored Dumont's work since his debut!

He himself made some sarcastic comments about the French Cinema Establishment in some interviews,
therefore I expected that they will never get on well…

I still need to see "Ma Loute", but I love all of Dumont's stuff & the more surreal, the better for me 

I'm dying to see Albert Serra's new film.
He's now a favorite, too.

Yes, Léaud should have gotten a nom in a perfect world,
but I first need to see it.
