I think this was a great move; kept my attention from beginning to end


...but the Armando character was truly dull and lifeless, devoid of joy. This movie will stay with me for a couple of days.

Even though Elder killed Armando's father for him, I believe Armando is the evil one here.

Elder had a horrible childhood, had his emotions messed with through this potential father figure, but grows to care for Armando
since Armando seemingly forgives his violent behavior and is probably the most consistent/solid relationship he's ever.

To me, it seems Armando only sees Elder as a sexual object and he's emotionally retarded. Can't feel love, or express love.

I really felt bad for Elder at the the end of the movie and Armando just made me want to puke.


Not very original, but 'We accept the love we think we deserve.' Brilliant.
