FINALLY.

One of these "Live!" shows is watchable! I didn't try to watch "The Sound of Music," because I don't like that show, and I got until the pirates showed up in "Peter Pan" and did the ridiculous choreography and switched that off too. When they announced "The Wiz" I was upset cause I've honestly never liked the show, but after my fellow theatre friends raved about it I figured I'd try it out. And holy crap. I am SO HAPPY with what they did. It's not only watchable, it's adorable. The singing is clear and spot on, the dancing is modern enough to not look like the stupid movie (sorry, I hated that movie), and the costumes are AWESOME. And what's more, other people actually liked it too! I'm so happy they did this, and I'm finally wondering what's next? With excitement. Instead of dread.
