The WIZ was very integrated
I don't know what people are b**tching about the Live broadcast being racist and only having black actors. I saw a few Asians and a couple of white dancers/singers in the cast.
Cirque du solei is very integrated.
And for crying out loud- it's THE WIZ! It's not a "white" show. I've seen it a couple times live and never once have I seen an "integrated" cast, and I've never minded because it's not supposed to be! Were people upset when there weren't black or asian characters in the sound of music? No! I agree with you whole heartedly- they did a beautiful job with the casting and I liked the show overall.

I'm guessing you didn't actually watch The Sound of Music one or go on the board, to be making that statement. Cause the Mother Abbess role, which is one of the main roles and has a couple of solos, was played by Audra McDonald, an African American Broadway actress, and people on that board weren't very nice about it at the time.
