What Happened?

I recall watching this show last year and there were truly artistic bakers, sugar experts and modelers with beautiful creations that just awed.

I watch both Halloween Wars and this current Holiday Cake Wars in 2015 and that artistry is NO WHERE in site. Not in either show.

What the heck happened?

Some people are not cutout for the competition/timing part. They start out having an ideal to create, but it seemed to get to a lot of them. And then of course there are those teams that don't work well together.
