Hopefully it gets cancelled soon
I pray CN doesn't let this go past its first season, it's incredibly awful and taints the memory of the (superior) original.

shareIt is completely flavorless. I watched a few episodes on Netflix of the original show just to prove to myself it wasn't nostalgia talking.
One of the episodes I watched was the one where Mojo Jojo arranges to be the girls' babysitter because it'll get him out of prison and he thinks they'll have to do his bidding. Instead they bully him relentlessly and beat him with pillows, until they realize it'd be more fun with fists. Mojo calls 911 to save himself and even when the cops come to get him and have him cuffed, the girls are still beating the hell out of him. It was hilarious. And something I could never imagine the current show ever doing.
That was one of my favorite episodes! I used to quote it! 😂
shareYes, it was only to cash on nostalgia and such...I've lost all respect for CN now that they've butchered one of their best shows.
shareIf they haven't cancelled "Teen Titans Go," I doubt they will cancel this.
shareIt's so different and more toned down. All episodes are 11 minutes, and half the villains rarely appear. All self contained stories that are so random.
shareThe ratings and earnings from toy sales from PPG 2016 will not give them a reason to continue if they want to milk that cash cow from the past anymore.
shareI've enjoyed some of it purely off nostalgia but a good 60 percent of the charm and witty cultural critique in the orginal are missing in this iteration of the show.

that's some really wishful thinking. sadly, it seems that cartoon network is going to keep making horrible cartoon reboots because they will make money due to the fans honor to the original. even ranting about it doesn't help. as we speak, CN is constantly using our own rants against us by using them as gaining attention and a profit.
it's like the show was made bad on purpose just so the older fans could review and talk about it, so it would get more attention so that innocent people.
so in a way, we feel used.
