Seasons 5,6 of original vs. This

I certainly agree that even seasons five and six of the original series although in some regard may not be as good as the earlier seasons but there are a few episodes here and there that stick out in my mind as very good episodes of those seasons, but even those seasons are better than any of the episodes this series puts out. Although this may be purely my own opinion as there might be people out there that actually like this train-wreck of a reboot. I am curious about one thing though and that is are people hating this reboot series purely on the fact of goodness and awesomeness of the original series that some of us may have grown up with from 1998-2005 or are we as reviewers even on this message board actually hating this series with all fairness that is it just not a good series period and the only reason it is at all popular is from a business point of view perspective and not from the perspective of keeping their audience entertained.
