boring and fails to engage

i want to like this. i keep giving it another go. and during each episode keep checking the time left on the ep. thats a bad sign. its just not very interesting and it fails to deliver. and the unkempt methy dude is distasteful and needy i cant figure out why he is an asset in the first place. i usually like slow moving suspense but its just not taking off anywhere. even for a slow paced show.
