Jamie Bamber's unofficial Bond audition?

Mediocre movie, but Jamie Bamber's cool and menacing British villain was a standout.

I hadn't seen him since Battlestar Galactica. Although I knew he was British, it was still startling to hear him speak in a deep, polished British accent.

Both my wife and I thought he'd make for a good Bond. His only flaw is that he looks a bit TOO good looking... too much like an international playboy rather than a rough-around-the-edges spy/assassin.

If he looked a bit less Roger Moore-ish and a bit more like Craig Daniel he'd be a good Bond candidate. Bond should look a bit beaten up, like he's taken some hits to the face over his career.

Still the Bond producers should give him serious consideration.
