James Dean Impression

Is what I thought watching KS. It was the body language and posture plus the nervy energy with which she played the role.
The film didn't work for me. I wondered if it would have seemed better in French and subtitled. I wondered how it would have worked as a Nic Roeg & Teresa Russel vehicle - I think the Klimt like silvery dress prompted that thought . I don't think the cast were at fault so I'll have to blame the director - especially for allowing/requiring KS to keep sniffing so much of the time - poor girl needed a box of tissues in reach at all times.
