Trip signing a contract

Nick continuing to perpetuate the idea that an underage kid signing a contract is legally binding.

I get it, without this there would be no story line but they've gotta come up with something better. This is just so unbelievable that it just takes you right out of the story.

Right because this show is supposed to be realistic. The audience is supposed to believe they are looking at real life.

Ha! Ha! 😄😂☺

But seriously, it is possible that Double G also signed the contract off screen.

In real life many minors do have employment contracts, including Thomas Kuc, Cree Cicchino, Madisyn Shipman, and Benjamin Flores Jr. I don't know if the minors actually sign those contracts or only their parents and other adult representatives.

It happens to be a fact that many adults and minors are afflicted with a sense of honor impelling them to keep all their agreements. Many adults and minors are also afflicted with a fear of angering powerful corporations and damaging their chances for future employment. Thus many adults and minors do have problems with getting out of contracts they regret signing.

In real life a minor would sign a contract along with his parent(s) or guardian(s). If he or she signed it alone it may not be enforceable if something went wrong -with exceptions. There was a teen scamming people out of money by selling cars on ebay and not producing the cars. he was sued and the case was on one of the judge shows. His defense was he was a minor and could not legally enter into a contract with an adult. The judge said that was true but because he set out to deceive people from the start he was going to find in favor of the defendant and dismiss the case without prejudice so that the defendant could sue the teen again. The bad part was the man would have to wait until the teen was 18 to do it.

I always find it funny how people complain about the unrealistic things kids & teens do on the shows here on Nick & the Disney Channel. Eve the so called realistic show have teens doing stuff that is absurd.
