Good but not great.

All the Michael Bay Transformers movies are SHIT.
Bumblebee was the first DECENT Transformers movie.

This was definitely a step in the right direction. Get the human aspect right and get the audience invested in the story and then we’ll care about what’s going on when the CGI spectacle happens.

I’d love a Transformers movie sequel to this with Charlie returning, a bit like a ‘Revenge of the Fallen’ except it doesn’t suck, it’s darker and we have more of a human element that we care about between all the Transformer fights.
