White female Protagonist(Women good, men bad!): Check.
Non-white boyfriend(White man bad, perpetuate white supremacy): Check.
Evil White Antagonist(White man bad): Check.

reply

Yellow robot (Asians are robots, non-human): Check.

reply

:) Hard to tell who's worse, SJWs or anti-SJWs.

reply

They both make me laugh.

reply

One created the other.

reply

This reply right here folks. "Women saved the Transformers franchise" articles incoming...

reply

Also, calling asians yellow is racist ;)

reply

I'm an Asian so it's not racist to call my yellow fellows yellow. Eat that, black people.

reply

Speaking of that....why isn't the boyfriend on the poster?

reply

Maybe because it was played by a relatively unknown actor (a.k.a . nobody)? If it was Tom Cruise I bet my ass he will be large front and center in the poster.

reply

Why? Aren't the skintone yellowish or something? Some seem more pale though, especially the women. Maybe it's that cultural appropriation thing going on.

reply

It's exaggeration. White people are also not actually white. That would be clowns or geishas. Asians aren't yellow either. Except when they have jaundice. Or made in Lego.

reply

Hmmm... about that. If they have Lego in The Simpson's universe, would they be considered yellow or flesh color?

reply

It's a movie about a children's toy ffs...

reply

That's the whole point of the thread.

These parasites will not stop until everything we love is "woke".

reply

^^^^The butthurt is strong with this one. Use some lube next time before you put that stick up your ass.

reply

^^^^Imagine this being some sort of intelligent response.

reply

Said the snowflake crying about white genocide in a toy movie.

reply

What's white genocide?

Do you support the genocide of white people?

reply

Yes, starting with the Finns.

reply

Horny robot side sidekick (Wants to sex human female, sex bots good, no need for men): Check

I'm usually as anti-SJW as they come, but in the case of this particular movie, I feel i've got to defend it here.

I don't want to give away any spoilers, I saw it at an advanced screening in the UK last night.

1). But in the context of the relationship between Charlie (the girl) and Bumblebee, it works better having a girl than a guy. In the movie shes just turned 18 years old, and the early relationship she has with Bumblebee and throughout the movie, is not one I can see an 18 year old guy having. She has a similar relationship that Eliot did with ET, but of course Eliot was significantly younger, but when guys get to a certain age, they don't act like they want to, they act like they want people to see them, and part of the success of Bumblebee is the relationship and how it works between Charlie and Bumblebee.

2). The "boyfriend" was more comic relief than anything else and spoiler alert: didn't get to really be the boyfriend the entire movie.

3). You actually don't realise how wrong you are on this point, but it would be a spoiler for me to tell you. Suffice to say the trailers do a good job diverting your attention away.

reply

This is how you know how SJWism has become Poe's Law.

I originally made this post as a joke to see what would happen. Society is fucked.

reply

Yeah you say that without acknowledging that many posts exist like this on this site that are 100% meaning what they wrote.

Your example doesn't work however for this movie, this is no Doctor Who.

reply

Think he failed in his joke or that it was sarcasm in its lowest form. Even worse if he intended it to be some lame social experiment. Good to know it wasn't SJW from your screening even though I never took the movie as such to begin with from the trailers shown.

reply

Thanks for proving my point lads.

reply

Oh such a puppet master you are lol Mister master of ceremonies here!

reply

Confirmed
