Getting nice vibes from the teaser trailer, its getting a lot of positive attention which could help turn the Transformers franchise aside.
Yes, this is described as a side movie, but I can't help feel that if this one is successful (and why shouldn't it), they may well continue with Bumblebee as a jumping off point and casually forget the Bay movies.

It honestly does look promising. From the looks of the trailer, I get the feeling this is going to be what a Transformers movie SHOULD be. So if it turns out good and breathes new life into the franchise (there’s no indication it won’t), then I can say I’ll certainly want to see more of the Bumblebee character and would welcome future - Bay-free - installments.
Same here. The tone of this movie actually felt kind of refreshing for this entire franchise. It's rather impressive, really. I do also like the director for this movie and Kubo.
shareAgreed. For this franchise, having Travis Knight as the director of this spin-off was always, to me, a sign of possibly better things to come. It should be a much-needed change of scene.
All in all, the trailer definitely made a strong impression.
I loved playing with transformers when I was little. Finally Hollywood acknowlleges this!! YESS!! I for one am buying DVD!!
