Terrible

Bad acting (even the always excellent Ruth Bradley is struggling)

Dreadful dialogue.

Cheap looking production.

But its the same guy who wrote the equally awful CHARLIE last year - so I am not surprised at how bad it is.

Sad to say I agree

It's like an episode of the Irish RM. the actors have very little to work with. Whoever wrote the dialogue is to blame for reducing what could have been a great series to a mediocre one

reply

Actually I disagree and I feel sorry for people who worked on this, the production values are wonderful. Cinematography, costuming and sets are beautiful. The story and writing are abysmal and it really makes the acting and the rest of the good work of the production suffer. Im pretty much done with this now and going to start watching the TG4 docu series instead.

LOL you sadists https://youtu.be/6Zxy_dScjsM

Trying to work out where all the money went.

Did not spend it on sets - as they are filming on locations that are way way way to clean to look like 1916.

Locations aren't free either you know and some of the rooms in houses are sets.

I think it's very good.

I enjoyed it very much, especially beginning with episode 3 onward. But I do agree that it felt somewhat unfinished. Makes me want to learn more about the rebellion and hope there is some sort of sequel in the works.

You've done some bad things, sweetie.
