What happened to Cormac?

We know the fates of the other characters, but the last we see of Cormac is him marching off to prison to be charged - or not. He did bear arms against the king, but he was so young I'd think even the British would have shown him some clemency. But the script leaves his character's fate unresolved.

I must put in a word of praise for the actor playing Cormac, Barry Keoghan. Splendid job for one so young.
