Episode Two

I was hoping they'd avoid the parallel universe of the week concept and be more adventurous with it. Maybe two or three parallel univereses per episode otherwise it just gets a bit dull.

A universe where one of them is a rock star? OK whatever.

One of the problems I had with "Sliders" was that once the reality was established, if I wasn't interested in it then the whole episode just didn't interest me.

If they get caught up in that kind of thing, I'll probably lose interest in this.

So far the show seems alright, I'll probably keep watching. In ep 2 though, what exactly happened to the other Milo? didn't quite catch that bit...

I'm a man of few words. Thank you.

Murdered by the other Danny.

Why a rock star would continue to live in a little English town is unrealistic too. That's the problem with this show, it's all a bit parochial and small. I kinda like it but I don't see a second season.

Ah okay, I thought as much. Went all Buffalo Bill Silence of the Lambs on him or something right?

I don't think he lived in that town did he? I thought they just sort of made his old childhood home into like a museum of sorts. I like it too, I really do hope there's a second season.

Danny was an obsessed fan who killed rockstar Milo in that universe. When new Milo arrived, he nonchalantly ignored the fact that he'd apparently come back from the dead and instead focused on killing him again.

His manager (Kate) was based in that cesspit area so we would have to assume that it was rockstar Milo's base of operations (yeah, none of it made sense).

With a small budget, all the universes (except the snowy one) will be pretty unimpressive and defy sense so the stories (and the comedy) need to be good for this show to get a second series.

I don't see it.

Even when shows are good (like The Fades) they get cancelled.
