How wrote the movie story line?

First Molly was from Seattle that's her home town Ryan was from Franklin. Felt like who ever wrote the story line never watched the movie.

It's probably from the original novel. Molly's last name is also not Allen in the movie. A lot of issues.

Obviously the original Story Line was written by someone that did not see the movie. That has been replaced by a correct one.
