What Molina's character did was so STUPID

I mean, what did he achieve by killing Dieter?

He can't undo the war, it has already happened, and, for that matter, the war wasn't even Dieter's fault, but rather his own, to some extent.

All he did was
1) wrecked the lives of an innocent little girl and an innocent young woman, by taking their father and husband.

2) deprived Britain of a jet enjine, for without Dieter's brilliant brain the team would be helpless, otherwise what was the point getting him in the first place.

3) wrecked his own life turnin himself into a fugitive -and a man like him can't run forever.

And all this for what? To save Caluum? Callum wasn't a child, if he wanted to destroy his own life - let him. Or rather be a father to him anf f---ing stop him!

Poliakoff is severely overrated, and his grasp of character is tenuous at best. Despite all the many flaws, though, I did think it was overall a good series. Having Alfred Molina, Alfie Allen, and eight sterling, attractive actresses in significant roles certainly helped.
